Hello this Samantha! This experience has been more than I could have asked for. The culture here was nothing I expected and totally took me by surprise. I feel blessed to live in a place where I am not forced to work at a young age, where everyone is treated equally…for the most part. Seeing the faces on these kids has broken my heart and given me more of an understanding of God’s love for us and nonbelievers. I have also learned that God’s love is experienced in many ways, through hugs or through just a simple hello. It’s the little things that make us stand out as Christians and show everyone that the love of God is real and can only be seen in the power of the cross.
