Our first day started off fairly early. Everyone was supposed to meet at the church at 5am, and we would load a people mover and head to the DFW airport for our flight that was leaving at 11:35am. We got off without a hitch, and arrived at DFW with more than enough time to spare.

 We flew from DFW to Washington, D.C. Dulles International Airport. We had a pretty good layover in DC, so some of the students went to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, some went to Chipotle, and some ate snacks. We then boarded a plane to fly to Munich, Germany.

 That is where we sit right now. It is currently 2:33am Albania time. We encouraged all of the students to try and get as much sleep as possible, but we know that sleep will be limited, because there is so much excitement in the air!

Please pray for us tomorrow as we finish our travel. We land in Germany around 9:00am (Albania time…2am your time). We then have a crazy quick turnaround, and our next flight leaves at 9:35am. So please pray for favor. We should arrive in Tirana around 11:30am. We will then go to the hotel, check in, then rest a little. In the afternoon we get to go on a tour of the city! We will post many more pictures in the blog tomorrow and in the future. Travel day isn’t the best picture day.
